Greetings everyone.
I’ll be resuming weekly blog posts this Friday, after a brief hiatus due to ‘adulting’ and everything it entailed, and I wanted to touch base beforehand.
First, I’ve been steadily working on the sequel to ‘Lion Fangs’ and expect to remain on course for a September release. Of course, things could change (insert reference to the author of a certain popular series-turned-HBO show here), but I’m feeling positive in terms of getting Lewis Frobisher’s second title out to my readers on time.
The anticipated publication date for the second book in the ‘Magic of the West’ trilogy is somewhat less certain, as I’ve been working on it intermittently between more immediate projects. However, for the time being I’m going to stick with January, 2026 as the intended window. There will be further news on this front in the coming months.
Fingers crossed.
Second, my Kindle Scribe is packed with bullet points concerning several book reviews I will be putting up on my Goodreads in the near future. Over the last few weeks I’ve been tackling the Cytoverse series by Brandon Sanderson, along with ‘The Spear Cuts Through Water’ by Simon Jimenez.
My views concerning ‘Project Hail Mary’ by Andy Weir and ‘Dracul’ by Dacre Stoker are also in the pipeline. As always, click the bold ‘g’ icon at the top of my site to check out my feedback on these books and other works of fiction.
I’ve also been known to read a fair amount of historical works, both for business and pleasure, and they tend to show up under my Goodreads account as well.

Third, as was briefly touched upon earlier, I have a range of topics under consideration for potential blog posts going forward. I aim to have them published by midday on Fridays, and posts on my social media serve as a convenient way to receive updates of when they go live. Alternatively, feel free to subscribe to my site for emails instead.
The second half of 2025 looks to be an exciting time, with plenty of work to be done. Hopefully you will find something to scratch your literary itch and stick around to see what sorts of mischief Lewis and Hal get themselves into next,
Best wishes,
C.A. Fitzroy
